Poster LAMOSS Ho'okipa Beach Park
Description
The Ho'okipa Beach Park poster was designed by LAMOSS. Ho'okipa on the island of Maui in Hawaii is considered the world's most famous wawe sailing spot. In a pure, vibrant style, using the usual codes of vector illustration, the author offers us a free, dreamy interpretation of this mythical beach, in a bird's-eye view from the east of the spot. Color and striking contrasts play an important role in this illustration; Ho'okipa spreads out like a living painting. Rough, black volcanic rock mingles with golden sand, all overlooked by the famous green mound.
On the ocean side, off the coast, an impressive line-up reminds us that this is a windsurfing paradise. In the background, the mountainous landscape emerges from the sea mist and offers us an almost impossible perspective, as if to better highlight the subject.
With over 40 years of windsurfing under his belt and still as passionate as ever, LAMOSS is above all a jack-of-all-trades, curious and eager to learn. A Fine Art graduate, windsurfing equipment designer, graphic designer... he's now giving himself an unaccountable break with this illustration project. Above all, no AI, just a work of the mind, with all its inherent emotion and sensitivity. Thanks to those who recognize him for respecting the discretion he holds so dear!
